Community Café

Our Community Café was created to reduce food waste, provide affordable access to nutritious meals, and create a welcoming space where everyone feels part of the community. It supports dignity, choice, and connection while promoting sustainability.

Meals provided in the Community Café are freshly prepared from a mix of surplus donations and quality local produce, ensuring good food is never wasted. The menu changes depending on what’s available, but you can always expect healthy, home-cooked meals and light bites, alongside a range of hot and cold drinks.

Open to all, the Community Café supports many local residents in Wirral who may be on low incomes, experiencing isolation, or simply looking for a friendly place to spend time. Beyond serving food, it is a social hub where people can meet others, access wellbeing support, and find signposting to other local services.

The café runs with the dedication of both staff and volunteers who go above and beyond to create a welcoming space. Like all of Neo Community’s services, it operates on a pay-as-you-feel basis. Visitors can contribute what they can afford, or choose to give back through time, skills or energy – from washing dishes and cleaning windows, to helping someone else in the community with their shopping.
